Perfect for beginners.
If you’ve always wanted to learn American Mahjong but didn’t know where to start, this is your seat at the table.

You’ll learn:
• Tile identification
• The Charleston
• How to read the card
• Basic rules + gameplay flow
• How a full game comes together

No experience or materials required, just come ready to learn and have fun.

Mahj 102 - Guided Open Play

For advancing beginners.
Designed for players who have taken a few lessons and can move through a game but want support with strategy and confidence.

An instructor will float throughout the room to:
• Answer rules questions
• Offer strategic guidance
• Clarify tricky hands
• Help build speed and confidence

Think of it as leveling up, without the pressure. Just show up - we've got the tiles and the cards and a helping hand if you get stuck!

Cancellation and refund policy:

All ticket sales are final within seventy-two (72) hours of the event start time.

Cancellations requested more than 72 hours prior to the event may receive a refund, less any processing fees, at the sole discretion of The Mother Ship.

No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the event start time, including for no-shows.

Ticket holders may transfer their seat to another guest only with prior written approval from The Mother Ship.

The Mother Ship reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the event at its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation by The Mother Ship, ticket holders will receive a refund limited to the amount paid.
