Mahj 101 - Learn to Play
Perfect for beginners.
If you’ve always wanted to learn American Mahjong but didn’t know where to start, this is your seat at the table. You’ll learn:
• Tile identification
• The Charleston
• How to read the card
• Basic rules + gameplay flow
• How a full game comes together
No experience or materials required, just come ready to learn and have fun.
Mahj 102 - Guided Open Play
For advancing beginners.
Designed for players who have taken a few lessons and can move through a game but want support with strategy and confidence. An instructor will float throughout the room to:
• Answer rules questions
• Offer strategic guidance
• Clarify tricky hands
• Help build speed and confidence
Think of it as leveling up, without the pressure. Just show up - we've got the tiles and the cards and a helping hand if you get stuck!
